Detention, August 12th
When Conner and Walter entered the Danger Shop on Saturday they would have seen...
Absolutely nothing.
Well, except for Alfred standing behind a console with a large book of instructions. Depending on how good Conner or Walter's hearing was, they might have heard him cursing under his breath. They might have also caught a mention of "How does Master Wayne do this?"
It appears he had an easier time making a bunch of fake doors.
On the console in front of Alfred was a notepad, on which were written two names. Alfred crossed them out as the students came in.
Walter Dornez
Conner McKnight
He talked while he messed around with the controls, causing a rather bizarre array of environments to appear around them. Including what at one point looked like five different versions of the Lost City of Atlantis.
"In my life, students, I have done many things and worn many hats. I have been a spy, a butler, owned and operated a restaurant, and finally taught a younger generation what I know. I, personally, believe that this sort of experience is very important, that being a Renaissance man is something of a lost art. AHA! Here we go."
Whether by luck or design, he had finally found the right buttons and the desired environment appeared.
Or rather, environments. They were split down the middle. One was an extraordinarily nice penthouse apartment, the other a park somewhere in West Gotham City, complete with soccer field.
"So today, you're both going to learn to do something different," Alfred said. "You're both going to learn how to be each other."
[[OOC:I'll have the OCD up as quick as can be. It's up! Have fun, mes amis. IG, you kids should probably get released around 6-ish FHT.]]

Activity 1: Dress like Each Other
Re: Activity 1: Dress like Each Other
He grabbed the soccer uniform and headed for the penthouse bathroom to change.
Re: Activity 1: Dress like Each Other
It didn't matter how often Conner said "You have got to be kidding me." It never really was a joke. He hadn't figured that out yet, though.
Activity 2: Talk Like Each Other
Re: Activity 2: Talk Like Each Other
No, still too English. "You have got to be kidding me. You have got to be kidding me."
If you've ever heard an Englishman trying to flatten his accent out into an American one, it's a somewhat comical thing.

Activity 3: Learn from Each Other/Lunch
[[OOC: Boxes contain hamburgers, fries, etc.]]
Activity 4: Be Each Other
He pressed a few buttons and a giant pink teddy bear appeared.
"...This thing was so much easier when I was making locked doors," he said, pressing a few more buttons.
Finally, he got it right. The penthouse apartment suddenly became a total mess, as if a rock band had held the wildest of parties there.
The soccer field filled up with other players. Large other players. Large, mean other players.
Alfred held up a soccer ball. "Conner, clean the apartment. Walter, finish soccer practice." He tossed it into the field. "Go."
Activity 5: Fight for Each Other
He pressed a few buttons and (because dumb luck has to operate at least every once in a while) got it right the first try. The scene shifted into a city street with two dark alleys, one with Walter's name above it, one with Conner's. A weapons rack had appeared next to Walter and Conner.
"I went into your records and dug up two people for you to fight from your pasts," Alfred said. "Obviously there's no real danger involved, but shouuld you fail to defeated your opponent, I will have you stay longer and do lines. Here's the trick, though. You won't be facing your old enemies. You both know how to fight your old enemies. You'll be facing each other's old enemies."
He tossed them a pair of communicators. "As before, advice is acceptable, helping is not."
Conner
At the end of the alley, in cul du sac, stood a man who's coat was being whipped up by the wind. His enormously tall frame was outlined clearly against the light of the full moon.
He stared at Conner with a bored expression.
Looks like the ball's in Conner's court.
Walter
As he walked forward, there was a sudden slamming noise and lights sprang up all around him. He was in a large square arena, surrounding by shouting soldiers of some sort of mutant origin.
And in front of him, a giant black... something.
