Photography [8/9]

"Good morning," Veronica greeted the class once everyone had arrived. "Today we're learning about Fine Art photography," she explained, passing out a handout.

After a brief lecture, she sent them off to the darkroom to develop their photos from the previous week.

Once they completed that, Veronica said, "Okay, now brainstorming for next week's prompts, which are Metal, Fear, and Technology."

[apologies for lame class post. am on vacation this week and heading out to see my sister's last show. will be afk until at least noon EST.]

Cameron was leaning against the wall outside the classroom, reading a piece of paper as he was waiting for the workshop to finish. He'd spent most of his morning out running, but he had a deadline to make by Friday and he needed someone's brain to pick.

"Hey, sorry I missed our gym session yesterday. I was ~~AFK~~ busy picking my college classes for the first semester," Veronica greeted, walking out of the classroom, sipping a cold cup of coffee.

"I had to beat the punching bag all on my own," Cameron sulked.

"Awww, poor baby," Veronica said with a mock-pout. "What brings you here today besides guilt tripping me?"

"Is it working?" Cameron wanted to know, perking up right away. "I came to pick your inventive brain."

"Not really," she told him with a smirk. "What do you want to pick my brain about?"

"Damn," Cameron sighed. "Oh well. I'm dazzling Chloe with my fanfic writing skills and I could use some help with the plot."

"You're writing fanfic?" Veronica asked, hiding her smirk. "What fandom?"

"I'm only doing it for what I'm getting afterwards," he said quickly, not wanting to ruin his image. "She wanted a cross over; Wormhole Xtreme, Vanessa Saturn and Littletown."

"And what are you getting afterwards?" Veronica asked, eyebrow raised.

"A dance," he said with a smile.

"Ah," Veronica nodded. "Well what do you want my help with? I've seen some Wormhole Xtreme and Littletown, but I hate Vanessa Saturn."

"Just, I finally came up with a plot but I don't know if it's believable or not," Cameron said. "It's easy to tie two shows together, but three at once?"

"Well, most of my writing has been in the non-fiction arena, but what have you got?" Veronica asked.

Cameron handed her the piece of paper where he had been jotting down ideas on. "Basically, it's set a couple of years in the future for Vanessa Saturn and Littletown. And let's face it, there's only one interesting character in Littletown and that's the reporter girl. So the weirdness from her town has followed her into the big city and two of her friends end up getting killed. She does some research and ties the murders to something paranormal that used to happen in her home town. Getting worried, she gets in contact with a private investigator, Vanessa Saturn. Both are working on the case, but at the same time the Air Force has their elite team investigating the same case as they believe something extraterrestrial is behind it," he paused and took a breath. "What do you think?"

"Could work," Veronica agreed. "Are the reporter girl and Vanessa going to make out?"

Cameron blushed and scratched the side of his neck. "Uh, I'm not sure if it's in character, but there's this new Colonel on Wormhole X-treme..."

"Ooh, that really cute one?" Veronica asked. "Very kinky. Do I get to read the story too?"

"I don't know," Cameron considered it. "Do I get a dance from you too?"

"I danced with you at prom," Veronica reminded him.

"I didn't realise I owed you for that," he remarked.

"I didn't say you did," Veronica pointed out. "But shouldn't that plus my wise advice score me a copy of the story?"

"I don't know. It doesn't really gain me anything now, does it?"

Veronica sighed. "Fine, be that way. But I won't tell you my idea on a great plot twist then."

"That's not fair," Cameron argued. "I was the one with the leverage here!"
