Photography [8/9]

"Good morning," Veronica greeted the class once everyone had arrived. "Today we're learning about Fine Art photography," she explained, passing out a handout.

After a brief lecture, she sent them off to the darkroom to develop their photos from the previous week.

Once they completed that, Veronica said, "Okay, now brainstorming for next week's prompts, which are Metal, Fear, and Technology."

[apologies for lame class post. am on vacation this week and heading out to see my sister's last show. will be afk until at least noon EST.]

Metal, Fear, & Technology

Cally has a brilliant idea. Sadly, it is impossible.

"Nobody's seen any cylons around lately, have they?"

"What's a cylon?" Dean asked, looking up for scribbling down ideas and possible ~~victims~~ volunteers to ask to pose for him.

"It's a type of robot," Cally said. "Where I'm from, we made a whole bunch of them, then they rebelled and started a war against us and stuff."

"Killer robots? Yeah, that would definitely fit." He glanced at her. "Though maybe you could make or find something that reminds you of them and use that...?"

"Oooh, good idea," Cally said. "I could scrounge up some stuff from the junkyard, even." She tapped her forehead. "I never woulda thought of that, thanks."

"No problem," Dean said with a smile. "Killer robots is good way to go."

"What way are you thinkin' of going?" Cally asked, genuinely curious.

"I'm not sure." He grinned suddenly. "First thing I thought was a possessed car." He shrugged. "But no cars here."

"Possessed car?" Cally eeped a little. "That definitely fits the theme. I think you might have some luck close to the causeway? Maybe? I mean, that's the only place with cars, really."

"What I'd really like to use is my Dad's Impala," Dean confessed. "The right kind of light, Dad and Sammy with some of the weapons Dad's made... It would be really cool." He sighed. "If Dad and the Impala weren't whoknowswhere."

"That does sound cool," Cally said. "Maybe you could try calling your Dad? Have him make a road trip?"

Dean shook his head. "He's already on the road. On a job."

"Hunting down possessed cars?"

Dean grinned. "Something like that."

"Sounds fun," Cally said. "My Dad just sorta sits around and fiddles with machines all the time."

At this point, Archie was wishing he'd had a camera back when he and Veronica had gone to San Diego; a picture of a modern battleship would have captured all three prompts very nicely for him.

Stark figured his mask was the obvious choice for metal. Fear and technology he wasn't as sure about.

She'd already used the TARDIS, so that was out. Who else did she know that had advanced technology?

Right. Must kidnap Bridge.
