Weekend Detention

Good morning, detainees. Welcome to Dentention.

Please say 'here' when I call your name from the detention list:

If everyone will lie down and close their eyes, please. We'll get started. You will not be physically harmed in any manner. Though perhaps you might prefer that after today.

[ooc: This is Dream's canonical method of punishing someone: trapping them in a never-ending nightmare. Whatever your character fears most, that's what they'll experience throughout detention, over and over again.

[livejournal.com profile] principalconnor or [livejournal.com profile] jerusalem_s, please let me know if there's anything more Detention needs.]

[ooc: ETA, 9/18. Detention is over. Have your characters react to their day however you like.]

nightmare

Roy slumps against the wall, leaning his head forward on his knees and slipping immediately into sleep.

In his dream, Roy sees the body of his best friend (http://image.rakuten.co.jp/wshop/data/ws-mall-img/plus-alpha/img128/img10261113631.jpeg) lying cold and dead. Maes has gone and done something stupid again-- or maybe Roy did something stupid, maybe it's his fault this time because he wasn't there he wasn't fast enough and Maes pulled one prank too many without Roy there to pull him out. But he can get him back, there's a way-- there's always a way if you want it badly enough. So Roy takes a knife and starts to carve a circle into the floor (http://www.fullmetalalchemist.info/circle/HumanCircle.jpg), and it's splintered and rough but all the angles are aligned, and that's all that matters. He puts his bare hands against the array and wills his friend to wake up.

But he never does.

Because nothing happens.

Because he's not strong enough he doesn't want it enough he doesn't have the right he can't fix this.
