Is Edmund drunk? Does he have a toothache? Does he just really not care about the class today? Hard to say. Regardless, he pays little to no attention to the students as they file in.

After several minutes to allow the students to get restless, he finally stood up and began to speak. "Inventory," he enunciated very carefully. "We've already discussed it. Ostensibly, you've familiarized yourselves with All and Sundries' inventory, although I have my doubts about most of you."

He rolled his eyes and swayed until he leaned against the counter in an attempt to look casual.

"Come up with an item that All and Sundries does not have in inventory that you would like to see. Then, because you're oooooh, so clever, tell me how the handsome proprietor of All and Sundries would obtain it for you. Do I need to arm wrestle a demon? Kiss a frog? Kiss the arm of a frog demon?" He swayed a little and had a sip of his... coffee.

"Shoo. Go on with you. Plot. Maim. Destroy. Come to me when you're ready."

Zack started looking for paper bags. Thank goodness they were in a store. "Willow? Breathe."

"I need to be dead now!" Willow said.

"Willow, death is not the answer," Zack said. "It merely makes more work for the lab people."

~~Hee!~~ "I'll go quietly, I promise!" Willow said, clutching her books to her chest. "I - I'm a witch. I could do a spell. A spell that makes my body vanish after I've killed myself. Hardly any mess at all!"

"But if you're dead you can't be sure it'll work."

"But I'll be dead and think of the advantage of that!" Willow insisted.

"There is no advantage to having to fill out autopsy forms for unexplainable deaths. In triplicate."

"I'll leave a note to explain it," Willow said, helpfully.

"'Magic spell' is not considered a valid answer."

"It's not my fault science has yet to catch up with reality."

"But it hasn't," Zack said. "And the lab technicians won't know what to do. Please, Willow, think of the lab techs."

Willow gave him an annoyed look. "Fine! How can I kill myself so it won't bother the lab techs?"

"You can't, therefore you can't kill yourself."

"But I can hide in my room and never come out again," Willow pointed out.

"But then you'll fail your classes," Zack pointed out.

"We're not being graded! Ha!" For the first time ever, Willow was happy about this.

"Never coming out would include the classes you do get graded on."

"I'm prepared to cross that bridge when I come to it."
