Steath and Deception #4, Wednesday Morning, Dangershop

The students had received a handwaved e-mail to come to the Dangershop in the morning as opposed to Cafe Fina.

When the students arrived, they found themselves in the most varied landscape they had ever seen. Three kinds of forests, two kinds of swamps, a desert, two plains, a snowfield, and an urban environment.

A noticeably clean and shiny urban environment. Complete with a newspaper vending machine with a headline that read "Superman saves Metropolis from Giant Spinning Top!"

Then the students heard some cursing from the side. "How does Barbra deal with these things... wait, here we go."

The clean urban environment shimmered and was replaced by a dark, dilapidated cityscape. The newspaper headline was replaced with "Who is the Batman?"

A man stood up from the console and ran a hand through his hair. "Hi kids. I'm James Gordon, commissioner of the GCPD. I was also in the Special Forces when I was younger, so Alfred asked me to come talk to you guys about cameoflage."

He shrugged off his coat and walked over to the center of the danger room, where a table with a selection of military camouflage options in various sizes was sitting.

"The important thing to remember about camouflage," Gordon said, pushing up his glasses, "is that despite what television may tell you, there is nothing to make you disappear completely. Not even the Batman," he continued, nodding towards the newspaper vending machine, "can pull that off. All it can do is conceal you, force someone to actually look harder to find you. Ideally, you want to be harder to find than they are willing to put into looking."

Gordon looked down into his notes, pushed up his glasses again, and launched into a lecture on millitary camouflage.

"Alright then," he said. "I've got a bunch of environments up to practice on and a selection of uniforms here. Try to match the right camo to the right environment and see if you can find the best place to hide to make maximum use of the camouflage. I should have sizes for everyone here, but if you can't find something in your size, just tell me and I'll see what I can do."

He pulled out a small jar. "I also have camoflage face paint. See if you can figure out how to best use it in conjunction with your camouflage."

[[Wait for le OCD! Have fun kids! Don't break Gordon!]]

Pippi regards the lipstick in the air and clandestinely sneaks something off the table in the guise of leaning on it.

"What are friends for?" she said as she makes a faint to appear that she's trying to get at the arm holding the lipstick but with the other hand she uncaps something bright pink and brings it into play.

Walter wasn't as on guard as he should have been and missed whatever clandestine actions she was taking while he continued to taunt her with the lipstick in his hand.

"Tickle fights, among other things." He made the threat without intending to tickle her. They were still in Alfred's class, after all.

"There is that yes." she said before lunging at Walter's lipstick holding arm.

Walter tossed the lipstick into the air before the strongest girl in her world could grab that arm and caught it with his other hand.

Of course, he wasn't expecting anything having to do with what she might have in her hand.

When he tossed it in the air, Pippi made a token grab befor reaching with that hand around to hold his head still as she attempted to on his face with the other hand.

Hopefully he would be distracted enough by trying to catch the lipstick before she did that he wouldn't notice what was happening until it was too late.

Walter didn't notice until it was too late.

Of course that meant retaliation with his red lipstick. Possibly somewhere on Pippi's face.

"Ack!" Pippi squealed as more marks joined the red smudge on her face. She pushed back a bit from Walter to get away from his red lipstick while madly waving her own pink one at his face at arms length.

Walter ended up with more pink marks on his face, which wasn't that big of a problem, since he was just going to cover it with heavy black and grey paint anyway.

He put his hand in the center of her chest to try to take advantage of his longer reach while he tried to draw circles on her face.

Pippi grabbed his wrist, leaned back, and started trying to draw on his arm.

"Hey, hey! That's dirty pool!" Walter twisted his wrist out to leverage her thumb and pulled his arm away. "And this is Alfred's class. I don't want to have to answer to him about a scuffle."

He cocked his head and pondered, since this was too much fun to just let go. "Phoebe could use some company later, we could pick up later down at the beach, where we can wash up afterward."

Pippi nodded. She wondered what Phoebe was doing down at the beach because she doesn't learn from Bel about the mermaid thing until after she gets back from lunch in town. And you know there will be gillyweed She pulled out a hanky and started cleaning off the red after letting him go.

"Okay, sounds like a plan." she grinned.

"I'll see you there later. And could you bring a hair tie for Phoebe? I forgot to tell Nadia before she not-so-sneakily snuck out."

"Hair tie." she nodded. "Got it."
