Photography Workshop [8/2]

Veronica was in a decidedly more cheerful mood than she had been the last few sessions

"Good morning," she greeted once everyone had arrived. "Today we're learning about Documentary Photography."

She gave a very brief, but informative lecture on the subject. "Now, you can spend some time in the darkroom, developing your photos."

After the darkroom, they returned to the classroom.

"Let's brainstorm on this week's prompts," Veronica said. "They are Red, Sparkly, and Fire."

[wow, sucky post but my brain hurts a lot today. slow play from me until after 5p EST.]

Rory developed the picture she'd taken of Becky when she was drunk and Rory had turned the fan on her for air (http://pics.livejournal.com/rory__gilmore/pic/000536ag). Lacking inspiration for the other two, she had ventured down to Flamingo cabin and taken a picture of their decorations for bird (http://pics.livejournal.com/rory__gilmore/pic/00051bee), and her cereal had been the subject for berries (http://pics.livejournal.com/rory__gilmore/pic/00052e45).

Kaylee developed her pictures of bird (http://wheeledone1.homestead.com/files/photobird.jpg), air (http://wheeledone1.homestead.com/files/photoair.jpg) and the obvious choice of strawberries for berry (http://wheeledone1.homestead.com/files/photoberry.jpg).

Parker was developing her pictures for berry, air and bird-- as well as a whole (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/956873.html?thread=50509001#t50509001) slew (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/956873.html?thread=50532809#t50532809) that Nadia (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/957024.html?thread=50553696#t50553696) Gremlin (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/957024.html?thread=50548576#t50548576) had (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/957024.html?thread=50551392#t50566496) taken. "Tell me you didn't get any of me," said Janet.

OOC: You've got company, we're short one person at work. :)

"So far, no, although there's a few GremlinNadia shots that she'll probably want me to lose." Parker quickly hid the Cally/Walter photos, and pointed to the Conner-Anders smoochfest. "Suggestions for the disposition of copyright material?"

"Oh, you are kidding me, Parker," said Janet, staring. "I missed that?"

Parker giggled wickedly. "So did I, I was busy being bounced at by Bel-who-thought-he-was-Blair. Thank you, Nadia and Kodak. Aren't they *pretty?*"

"That is a seriously fascinating example of boykissy," said Janet. "If you sell these for a profit, I'm investing."

"I could have an entire scrapbook of Daisy's finest moments alone froms this school." She grinned. "Maybe E-Bay? Although I bet Veronica gives me top dollar right here."

Re: In the Darkroom [8/2]

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-08-03 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Parker took a look and chortled. "Mine were taken by Nadia as a gremlin, so it's no surprise yours are better. Those two, I swear-- no sense of 'time and a place' at all." Straight-faced she added, "Which would be where we could sell tickets and popcorn."

"Obliging couple. So sweet of them. And now? I'm thinking the poster I want to make of this needs a caption. 'Will make out for cupcakes', maybe."

"Go with Veronica first," said Janet, narrowing her eyes at the pictures. "It always pays to keep your close contacts happy. Give her right of first refusal, and then hit e-bay."

Re: In the Darkroom [8/2]

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-08-03 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
After talking to V, Parker grinned. "E-bay is looking good. Although? A new poster with these two on it would not go amiss. I need to learn how to do that anyway."

"You do realize you could easily be categorized as an evil genius, don't you, Parker?" asked Janet, giggling helplessly.

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-08-03 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
"Heee. Aww. You're just saying that because you want a copy for yourself." Parker grinned and started to look for the stat camera to blow those photos up really, really big.

"No setting me on fire," Angela said, mock-sternly.

"I wasn't thinking anything of the sort!" Marty said defensively. "Though just out curiousity how do you feel about glitter and flaming batons?"
chasingangela: (thinky thinky)

Re: Brainstorming [8/2]

[personal profile] chasingangela 2006-08-02 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yes to glitter. No to flaming batons unless they're a huge safe distance from me," Angela grinned.

"Sparklers?" Marty suggested. "Cigarette lighter?"
chasingangela: (interested)

Re: Brainstorming [8/2]

[personal profile] chasingangela 2006-08-02 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
"Sparklers could work," Angela said thoughtfully. "Do you suppose anybody has some left from last month?"
