Basketball Game - FH Gym - 2nd Half

Half the game had been played, but it was still too close to call as Blue and Gold Gremlins battled it out.

There may have been another gremlin roaming around the gym as well. But that was probably just the cheer squad's mascot.

First, half-time festivites, then the ball game would be decided.

Willow pouted at him.

Peter pretended to think for a second. "I've decided the detention inflicted through no fault of your own certainly could not be held against you. Especially when you didn't hold a detention that I definitely deserved against me."

"Thank you," Willow said, smiling again. "Now if only colleges would agree with you."

"I can't imagine that any college would turn you down because of a detention or three," Peter said, smiling back. "I'd wager they don't even pay attention to that."

"You don't know," Willow said. "These things stay on your record forever. I've already worked so hard to try to get that milk-spilling incident from first grade."

Peter gave her a doubtful look. "You'd know better than me, I'm sure."

"You can't be too careful."

"Any university you go to would be lucky to have you," Peter said. "And if they kept you out because our school is odd? Then you'd not want to go there anyway."

"I suppose," Willow said. She waved a hand, dismissing it. "Anyway, no saddness! You won! We need to do celebratey things."

Peter grinned. "What type of celebratey things would you like to do? Because we certainly won due to your cheering so it's your victory too."

"Mr. GOB says I should make out with you," Willow told him.

Peter blinked and lost the ability to form words for a second. "Are we taking Mr. GOB's advice about things now?" he asked.

Willow pretended to look thoughtful. "Actually he said I should offer to make out with your whole team. Only it was supposed to be my team. I guess I should make out with everybody in Gold now. Hookay. I'll be back."

She pretended to leave to do just that.

Peter caught her arm. "No, no, no, no, come back and kiss me. Only probably not in public since I think Su is still around?"

Willow eeped and looked guiltily at the stands. "I forgot about that! Sorry!"

Peter blushed slightly then shrugged. "I can't say I minded.

"Me neither," Willow said, reaching up to chastely brush her fingers against his hair. "Would you like to go somewhere private? Or, you know, shower and change and then do private?"

Not that her mind wasn't taking a second or two to ponder the pretty mental images that would result if they switched that order around.

"Let's do that," Peter agreed with a smile. "But I definitely must shower. And you probably never want to see that t-shirt again."

"I'd at least want to wear something nicer for your victory," Willow said. "Plus I don't think I'm allowed to keep this."

"Did he say to give it back?" Peter asked. "If not...why not burn it?"

"It's not mine to burn!" Willow said. "Plus he could give me an actual detention and not one of those weird lottery things!"

"Let's get it back to him then," Peter said.

"Where should I meet you post-showering?" Willow asked.

"I could come find you in your room?" Peter said tentatively.

"Marie might need a little downtime after the game," Willow said. "I could knock on your door?"
