Basketball Game - FH Gym - 2nd Half

Half the game had been played, but it was still too close to call as Blue and Gold Gremlins battled it out. 

There may have been another gremlin roaming around the gym as well.  But that was probably just the cheer squad's mascot.

First, half-time festivites, then the ball game would be decided.

Nadia chattered excitedly at him.

She had bits of towel hanging from her teeth.

"What exactly are you supposed to be, eh?" He reached into a pocket and pulled out a banana. "Would you like some nice tasty potassium?"

Nadia tilted her head in query, then snapped her teeth at the Doctor and the banana.

The Doctor jerked his hand away and scowled.

"Oi, careful there. Let me unpeel it for you, first."

Nadia snapped again and chattered impatiently.

The Doctor peeled the banana and held it out for the nice gremlin.

Nadia chomped. And completely missed the banana.

His wrist looked tastier to the gremlin.

The Doctor frowned and dropped the banana. He was about to berate the gremlin when suddenly the venom reached his brain. His voice gruffed up, as if from the effect of years of steroid abuse and what ever happens when a man abuses fake tanning oil for too long.

"Now let me tell you sometin', brother," he said at the Gremlin. "You need to say your prayers and eat your vitamins, not eat my arm. You got that?"

Nadia blinked and chittered for a full minute, gremin-voice going up and down along the register as she babbled.

Then she snatched at the banana.

"Hey now," the 'Doctor' said. "Don't you be stealin' my potassium, little fella. The Hulkster needs his food so he can continue to have his 24 inch pythons." He flexed his arms which were, in actuality, nowhere near 24 inch biceps. But in his mind, they were.

"So don't you be touchin' that. Otherwise whatcha gonna do, when Hulkamania runs wild on you?"

Nadia might have made a comment about how the Doctor had offered it to her at first, but was more interested in smooshing the banana onto his hand.

The 'Doctor' looked down at his banana-smooshed hand and scowled. He was about to stand up and begin muscle flexing for entirely too long of time when the venom uncoursed through his brain.

The Doctor shooke his head and blinked.

"Well, that was interesting."

Nadia reached out to smear banana on his pants.

The Doctor frowned at the mischief.

And the banana smear on his trousers.

"Was that really called for?" he asked.

Nadia looked properly chastened, and offered an old banana peel to the Doctor.

The Doctor reached out carefully to take the peel, wary of a second bite.

Nadia "rar"ed happily and skittered away back under the bleachers.

The Doctor pocketed the banana peel, and pulled out a hanky to wipe off some of the mess on his pants.
