Game, FH Gym, 1 p.m. FHT

The gym was ready for the game ~~assuming nothing crazy happened during detention~~, with a shiny floor, clean new nets, and two perfect basketballs lolling about. Everything was ready for the rematch between the blue and gold gremlins. Last time, gold had eked out a victory; this time, it was anyone's game.

Play ball.

Parker nearly feel off the bleacher seat, she was giggling so hard. "Bel is meeeean. Why would he make a bet like that with you? Poor Blair."

"He thinks it's funny when I blush," Bel said. "He even has Phoebe and Lana and Dawn helping him. I've blushed in the first three classes so far. I couldn't help it!" He dropped his voice and leaned closer to Parker. "Did you know that Becky is really a nun?"

"Well, that's just cheating," Parker said supportively, feeling heartless because she now really, really wanted Bel to win this bet. "And no! A nun? Seriously?"

Was it Bel or Blair that had been smoking the crack that lead to that particular concept?

Bel nodded gravely. "She's undercover, trying to help get the girls away from that kind of life. Bel said that's why Angelus liked her."

Aaaand Parker's nearly falling off the bleachers again.

"Ohhhhhh. Is that why?" she asked, finally getting her breath back. "Well then. Much of my interaction with her is explained. She's just overcompensating for being a Bride of Christ. I should have realized." Her smile widened. "I do have to write Angel and ask him if he wants to contribute to the cause."

Bel bounced. "If he likes nuns then Angel would be happy to see her back in her habit, right?" he said.

"...but not *too* happy," Parker said cautiously. "Which could happen." Her lips twitched. "Too many good deeds in one day. Too many young women in habits with rosaries. Gotta be careful."

"I miss Angel," Bel admitted. "I wish I could go see him sometime. I could tell him all about Sister Becky and see if he knows a way to help her before she gets lost in her cover."

"Do you think that's likely?" Parker said, in tones of deep, sincere concern. "I mean, she is a nun. And she's hanging out with a ninja. She should be able to handle it." Her lips twitched, then she said, "You could get Bel to take you there? Since he's good buddies with Angel too."

"Do you think the ninja is a nun, too?" Bel said, cocking his head. "And, yeah, I can ask Bel. Angel is his hero. I'm sure he wouldn't mind taking me to LA if I ask nicely."

"Oh, of course not. He was just in L.A. last weekend, but I'm sure Bel wouldn't mind a return visit." Wow, this conversation was breaking her brain. "And of course, she must be. Miho's probably a Buddhist nun, though. They invented kung fu as a way of peacefully defending themselves."

Parker is now taking notes of ways to mess with the *real* Blair, the next time she sees him. As well as mocking Bel.

Bel's eyes grew wide. "Kung fu is peaceful? I knew about Tai Chi but I didn't know Kung Fu was supposed to be a peaceful art form." Bounce, bounce. "It makes sense that Miho is a nun, too. I wonder how many girls they've saved between them? Probably a lot! Maybe they'll come with us to visit Angel."

"Oh, that would be a trip." Parker's snickering again. "They could take the girls with them, maybe? Surely they'd want to leave the Life if they had a chance in a new dimension."

"That's it!" Bel said, bouncing even more. "It could be like an interdimensional underground railroad. Do you think Bel would be up for it?"

Oh, there are *so* many things she could say here.

"Why don't I sound him out about it?" she asked, biting her lips to hide the smile again. "I think he could be up for trips with hookers to see Angel. In fact, I'm sure of it."

"Really? Great!" Bel said. And again with the bouncing. "Thanks! Let me know what he says."

Parker's smile turned absolutely evil. "I promise. You'll know as soon as I do."

"Cool, thanks!" Bel said. "I'll talk to you soon then!" He bounced off toward Veronica and Archie as the second half began.
