Game, FH Gym, 1 p.m. FHT

The gym was ready for the game assuming nothing crazy happened during detention, with a shiny floor, clean new nets, and two perfect basketballs lolling about. Everything was ready for the rematch between the blue and gold gremlins. Last time, gold had eked out a victory; this time, it was anyone's game.

Play ball.

Janet hated the actual cheering part of cheerleading, so she did a series of flips and cartwheels while Alec and Isabel were having fun.

Nadia was unimpressed by the cheerleader's showing off.

She could do waaaaaay better than that.

She skittered out from beneath the bleachers, doing a few rolls, then jumped out to bite Janet.

Nadia hissed and skittered back off under the bleachers . . . and over the empty mascot costume that was still lying on the floor.

Isabel cheered when Greg scored. Who cared what team he was playing for? He was her boyfriend for pete's sake. At Janet's yell, she turned. "Are you okay?"

"I think that Nadia's taking this whole mascot thing a little too seriously," said Janet. She glanced up at Isabel. "Uh." She shook her head. "Is it just me, or are your eyes glowing."

OOC: Gremlin venom, yay! Janet's going to start thinking everyone's a Goa'uld soon.

"No, I'm fine," Isabel said glancing at Nadia's abandoned costume. She did not have a good feeling about this.

"Janet, Nadia's a gremlin at the moment. She just bit you. That's not good." She stepped towards Janet, "Let me walk you back to your room so you can rest."

Isabel's voice was distorted and deep. "No, this isn't embarrassing, it's just worrisome. Did you get any sudden neck wounds recently? A sore throat?"

"I'm trying to help you. You know what happens after a bite," Isabel said patiently. "Usually it involves extreme embarassment. I'm trying to prevent that."

Isabel's voice was distorted, deeper. "Have you had a sore throat recently?" she asked. "Neck pain?"

"Janet I'm fine," Isabel assured her. "The only person I know that's been sick around here is Jack. And it seemed like he was on the mend this morning. Come on, I'll walk you back. I'm sure Liz will take care of you."

Janet kept walking backwards slowly, coincidentally toward the door. She kept catching glimpses of glowing golden eyes flashing among the crowd. "Yeah," she said slowly. "That was before I discovered your eyes glowed. That tends to change things."

"You know what it means," said Janet, her eyes narrowing. Her eyes darted toward the door. Almost there. "It means you're not Isabel any more."

Isabel blinked. "Janet, I'm me. It's fine. Let's go back to your room. You can sleep it off." She reached out for Janet's arm.
