Game, FH Gym, 1 p.m. FHT

The gym was ready for the game assuming nothing crazy happened during detention, with a shiny floor, clean new nets, and two perfect basketballs lolling about. Everything was ready for the rematch between the blue and gold gremlins. Last time, gold had eked out a victory; this time, it was anyone's game.

Play ball.

[OOC: Wait for OCD. This post is open throughout the day; a post for the second half will be made when we're ready for it.]

Nadia chittered at Archie questioningly, then peered silently up at Veronica with big, sad, gremlin-y eyes.

She couldn't find the boy with the cricket bat, yet! She would not be the best gremlin she could be until she bit him!

"You heard her," Archie told Nadia, resignedly. "She'd really prefer not to be bitten."

The big, sad, gremlin-y eyes were making him feel bad, though. "I'm sorry I can't find Marty for you."

The big, sad, gremlin-y eyes were making Veronica feel bad, too and she scanned the crowd for Marty.

"Oh, I think he's over there," she gestured vaguely because his player isn't online yet.

Nadia chittered happily and offered a dust covered, half-eaten lollypop to Veronica in return for the information.

"Uh, thanks," Veronica said, taking the offering for fear of pissing off gremlin!Nadia and getting bitten.

Nadia skittered off.

Archie looked after her worriedly then turned to Veronica. "Should I be disturbed that she turned into a gremlin and we're not more alarmed about it?"

"I think if she's still a gremlin tomorrow we should be concerned," Veronica decided. "Things in Fandom tend to wear off quickly."

"Oh God, you don't think her bites will have the usual gremlin effect, do you?" asked Archie.

Veronica looked concerned. "I don't know but I'm really glad she didn't bite me."

Archie laughed and wrapped his arms around her. "I don't suppose the leather bikini thing would have happened twice anyhow."

Veronica leaned close and whispered in his ear, "I still have it in my closet."

"How soon is this game over?"

"It just started, honey," Veronica said, trying not to giggle.

"It's not as long as a baseball game, is it?" asked Archie.

Who, Archie? Impatient-sounding? Not at all.

"Not usually, no," Veronica told him, patting his knee.
