The Chef was pretty much bouncing off the walls today. He was very excited about running detention tomorrow. Das Schnitzel looked worried. This probably wasn't the best idea ever.

Pip nodded. "Well, I was thinking of it as more of a last restort thing. The question is, then, do we want to distract him like this? Or do we want to somehow force him to confront it? Forget it, or try to come to terms?"

"I don't think we can, or should, force anybody to do anything. But... It's not for me to say, but when we didn't have our voices, there were things he wanted to talk to her about. Then she got some bad news from home and then she told him she had to go. And now she's gone. And he didn't say anything to her, because he didn't want to make it harder on her, but how fair is that to him?"

Pip shook his head and ran his hands up through his hair from the front. "It isn't fair at all. And it's nothing new on Walter's part. The question is, as his friends, what do we do to help?"

Pip nodded. "It's a good start. Even if he never hears from her, he'll at least have said what he had to say."

"I'm sorry, I'm being all sucky. How are you?"

Pip shrugged. "I'm alright. Thinking about stopping by the career fair later."
