Summer Picnic, Main Campfire, Friday afternoon

At lunchtime, the campfire area was set up with blankets, baskets, picnic tables, food, and ant problems. The groundskeeper who brought the ants was later sent home for the rest of the day. It turned out that he didn't really like picnics.

[OOC: I suck and completely forgot about this. Sorry about the relative lateness. It's a sunny and fairly comfortable day. I MOD WEATHER! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!]

"Yes, if they don't drown in it," River replied. "How are you?"

"Pretty good," Bridge says with a shrug. "Though apparently I need to work on using clearer language, sometimes."

"Oh, why?" River asked, sounding surprised. She drank the fizzy drink from her hand, including the ants.

"Because apparently when I say that I had Sex Ed class and had to take my shirt off, people assumed these two events were *connected*."

"If you say them in the same sentence then I think it's fair to assume they are connected. You had to take your shirt off in Sex Ed?" River smiled.

"No," Bridge frowns. "In Wilderness Survival. Because I didn't bring shoes."

"Did you get bitten by small insects?" River asked, now grinning.

"Surprisingly? No." Bridge grins back. "Sam and I had to track a muppet chicken."

River frowned. "I haven't met one of those. I think. What did you do with it?"

"We never actually caught it," Bridge says with a shrug. "The tracks just kind of ended."

"Hm." River frowned. "It flew off?"
