When all of the students arrived, the Zombie Band began playing the always familiar Final Countdown. After some pause, GOB came out onto the stage and made a bouquet of flowers appear in each hand. And then...
And then he looked out into the audience. He immediately made the "cut" motion to the band, but zombies are kind of single-minded when it comes to tasks, so they continued playing. "Tino! Get over here! Bring that folder!" GOB called. Tino brought over the folder and GOB flipped through it.
"Two people? I give my focus and concentration for five weeks-" Yes, there were seven weeks in the session. GOB was being honest for once, "-and all I get this time is two kids?"
He looked over the roster. "And one of them is duck girl from the theater! Great!"
GOB walked over to the bar. "I quit! I'm not putting up with this! Do whatever you want and get out of here."
And as GOB began to pour himself a drink, the Zombie Band switched their score to Vince Guaraldi Trio's "Christmas Time Is Here." He tried to choke back the tears and was only mostly successful.
