"Just because it's out last lesson doesn't mean I'm going easy on you," Callisto said, pointing to the lockers. "Clothes and shoes."

"Now that we've got that out of the way," Callisto said. "Today's class is going to be something of a test, to see how well you actually listened to me over the pst few weeks."

Callisto picked up a large piece of paper. "Now, somewhere in this preserve is this person." She turned over the paper. "Your mission, should you want your shoes and clothes back, is to use the skills I've taught you to hunt down and capture... this kid with doofy hair. Because unless you've brought him back here by the end of class? I'm keeping your stuff. Have fun."

Callisto made shooing motions with her hands. "Well, what are you waiting for?"

like_a_sponge has graciously volunteered to help with the class today and will be tagging in later, in the meantime just split into groups or go off by yourself looking for poor Greggie.

"Well, we could do things the easy way, or the hard way. I'm fine with either, but thanks to the Isabel factor, I'm giving you a choice."

Greg smiled. "Or...I could run away really fast?

With that, he turned on his heel and sprinted further into the woods.

Aeryn takes off after him again, faster this time. She's fine with this. He'll tire himself out before she will.

And Greg scrabbled up into a tree, trying to be as quiet as possible.

Aeryn's following closely enough to see him disappear by the tree, if not up it. She looks up anyway, because she's not stupid. "Come down from there," she says.

"No," he replied.

"I gave you a chance to take the easy way," she says, looking around for another rock, because she knows climbing up the tree will only mean he drops down then.

Greg climbed higher and tried to look invisible.

Oh, look, Aeryn found two rocks. She throws one into the tree.

Greg eep'd and dodged.

"That's not nice!"

"Come down!"

"No!"

She throws the other rock.

"OW!"

"I can do this all day!"

"Your arm will get tired!"

"I have two!"

And after finding another rock, proves she can throw left-handed.

Greg dodged again. "But she'll kill meeeeeeeeeee."

"No," Aeryn says, "she won't. She probably should, but she won't. The administration would frown upon that."

"I barely even did anything," he told her.

"I heard about the cheerleader outfit," she says.

"Which wasn't me. I'm not allowed to go to the Sin," he said primly.

"Did you try and stop John and Peter?" Aeryn asks.

"No. Did you?"

No, that didn't really make sense.

"I wasn't there," she reminds him, rolling her eyes. "You were. So you're guilty by association, but she can't kill you."

She can't believe she's trying to talk him down.
