Photography Workshop [7/5]

Veronica was smiling as her students entered the classroom. They would find a selection of drinks and pastries from J,GOB on a table to the side.

"Today is our last day. You guys have all been great and I've really enjoyed seeing your interpretations of the weekly prompts. I'd like you to start by going through all the photos you took this session and picking out what you think are your five best. After you do that, you can head to the darkroom to develop your recent photos. When you're all done with that, you're going to display your best photos for your classmates to view. I'd like you all to give each other feedback on the photos. Constructive criticism only, please. We're all here to learn."

[may be slow interaction today; came to work late because of power issues and am catching up from the long weekend.]

Veronica rolled her eyes. "Just for that, I'm not going to tell you how I think you did in this workshop," she said.

"Ow," Cameron scowled in Buffy's direction as he hadn't seen it coming at all. "Have a nice day to you too," he grumbled before turning his attention back to Veronica.

"Come on, you know I was kidding. I like girls."

Veronica gave Buffy a thumbs up and grinned at Cameron.

"I think you did a really great job considering you hadn't intended to sign up," she said. "And if for no other reason, than for that picture of Bel."

"I'm thinking that might turn out to be my one masterwork," Cameron laughed. "But thanks for the workshop. I actually had fun with this."

"I'm glad," Veronica grinned.

"I still say you and Chloe are evil," he said, just so it was clear.

Veronica shrugged. "Never underestimate the power of a snarky blonde."

"Uh huh," he shook his head in amusement. "I guess I should probably hand back the camera now?"

"That would be a good thing," Veronica said. "You should think about investing in one of your own though."

"Maybe," he shrugged as he got the camera out of his bag and handed it to Veronica. "I've already made my investment for the next couple of months."

"Oh yeah?" Veronica asked, giving the camera a cursory inspection. "What's that?"

"Swoop bike," he bounced. "The one on my pictures." Yes, that would be the one with the mysterious blaster marks and that didn't look like it was going to go anywhere soon because it really wasn't.

"Well, that should keep you out of trouble for a while," Veronica said.

Cameron raised an eyebrow. "I wasn't aware I had to kept out of trouble to begin with."

"Most guys need to be kept out of trouble," Veronica pointed out.

He was going to let that slide on account of her not killing him for his earlier remark. "Good to know. Where can I hire a babysitter?"

"Babysitter is generally interchangable with girlfriend," Veronica said.

"Ah," Cameron glanced away. "I'd like to point out that there haven't been any more jello dragons since Sunday."

"Well that's good," Veronica said slowly, trying to figure out what Cam meant by that.

"Which I wasn't responsible for to begin with," Cameron added quickly. "So I'm good and I should probably stop rambling and let you get on with... whatever you senior types do after class."

Veronica frowned a little, but let it slide. "We good for starting up self defense again tomorrow?" she asked.

"Yep. Tomorrow morning. Gym. You, me and some ass kicking," he nodded and backed towards the door.

"See you then," Veronica waved, making a mental note to figure out what Cam was hiding.

Cameron was totally smooth as he left the room.
