Photography Workshop [7/5]

Veronica was smiling as her students entered the classroom. They would find a selection of drinks and pastries from J,GOB on a table to the side.

"Today is our last day. You guys have all been great and I've really enjoyed seeing your interpretations of the weekly prompts. I'd like you to start by going through all the photos you took this session and picking out what you think are your five best. After you do that, you can head to the darkroom to develop your recent photos. When you're all done with that, you're going to display your best photos for your classmates to view. I'd like you all to give each other feedback on the photos. Constructive criticism only, please. We're all here to learn."



[may be slow interaction today; came to work late because of power issues and am catching up from the long weekend.]

You can handwave this if you don't have time, but if you want to play, put up a sub-thread for yourself with links to some of your photos and comment on each other's work.

Bel was particularly proud of Joy, Sparkly, and Red, so he put those on display.

Cameron displayed his blue (http://cameronmitchell.livejournal.com/70973.html), Tree, Water and Joy (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/901617.html?thread=44941809#t44941809) and the teacher by a banana tree (http://community.livejournal.com/fh_trips/10942.html?thread=1196734#t1196734) pictures. He was tempted to display another certain sparkly and red picture, but he valued his life too much.

Nadia put up her photos for joy (Gosling!Pip splashing in a puddle), water (a wine glass of water lit by candlelight), red (a rose at the Vietnam memorial), fire (the slam poets on the mall), and sad (the tail lights on the causeway).

She thought they made for an interesting array, if nothing else.

Most of Elizabeth's photos were of DC, although there were a good few cheerleading ones as well. It seemed appropriate really.
