Xander is...totally not here. There's just his laptop sitting on a log, and Rory standing next to it. When everybody's assembled, she presses a key, and a recording fills the screen.

Xander (soldtoarmenians)	A face that might be... slightly familiar behind the glasses, even-bushier-than-usual eyebrows, giant somewhat plasticky looking nose, and fuzzy mustache, looked out at the viewer, looming above Willow, who appeared to be tied to a chair. Of course, the loominess might be the effect of the camera being low to the floor. A dog's-eye view, possibly. "Muahahahahaha," laughed the villain, with a villainous tone. In an artificially-gruff voice, he added, "Xander couldn't be there today, because I, his Evil Alternate Personality ^TM...um...Xandino, have taken over his body. I've also kidnapp~~inat~~ed Willow. Because I'm evil like that."
Willow (willbedone)	There was a pause as though somebody - we're not mentioning names here - had briefly forgotten her lines. "Oh! Yes!" Willow said, trying to make 'Help me' eyes at the camera. "He's so evil! Extremely! Also? This rope is very scratchy and this is in no way a comfy chair."
Xander (soldtoarmenians)	"And if you meddling kids don't get here in time to rescue her, I'm going to force her to watch..." The Evil Villain lowered his voice to a loud, terrible whisper. "That episode of Wendy the Werewolf Stalker where Wendy and Ryan have the unsexiest sex ever for fifty-five godawful minutes. And I'll tape her eyes open!"
Willow (willbedone)	Willow didn't have to act her look of disgust. Or her attempt to get away. "No! Never! Somehow I will escape from these tight, confining ropes that are holding me down and - " Willow paused, momentarily breaking what amounted to her character. "You had to do this while Peter was out of town? Really?"
Xander (soldtoarmenians)	There was a pause, during which Xand...ino stared at her like he was mentally filing that particular comment away under OMG THINGS I DID NOT WANT TO KNOW WILLOW AND I HAD IN COMMON AND WILL DO MY BEST TO FOREVER ERADICATE FROM MY MEMORY. Then there was a cough that sounded suspiciously like "line...," and the astute observer might note him poking her gently on the shoulder.
Willow (willbedone)	Willow gave him a Look, and continued. "So yes! Please save me, members of the Scoobying class! It doesn't matter which one of you comes FIRST, or that you may have to search all over town and each FLOOR OF THE DORMS for a ROOM that might, you know, belong to somebody who looks like XANDER...ino."
Xander (soldtoarmenians)	"That's Xandino! And that's enough outta you, missy!" Xand..er..dino reached offscreen for something, and returned holding a piece of duct tape. Or possibly several pieces of masking tape stuck together and cleverly painted to look like duct tape. He placed it ~~lightly~~ viciously over her mouth.
Willow (willbedone)	Willow did her best to try to shout "Help!" ~~while trying to make sure she didn't accidentally dislodge the tape~~ in spite of her oh so vicious and cruel new gag.
Xander (soldtoarmenians)	From behind her, there was a loud, "RIBBIT?" The Evil Xandino turned and put a finger to his lips, right under the bushy mustache. "You shut up too, Jerem...mino, and quit yer whining. No, they won't get here in time to rescue her, 'cause they have to do the in-class exercise first. Or Rory'll cry, and they're all too goody goody to make Rory cry. Plus they're not smart enough to team up to track us down, and the fish that keeps moving around on the door will just confuse them, which means none of them will get any of the delicious--" He coughed. "Cidigookidigies whidigich Idigi adigam nidigot tidigellidiging thidigem adigabidigout sidigo thidigere."
*(cough)*	From offscreen again, but this time as if it's right behind the camera, came a loud trumpeting sound. "Oh, don't you start!" Xandino said. "Cut! That's a wrap!"

The screen goes dark.

Zack looked around for someone to team up with.

Cordelia approached Zack. "Hey, wanna go rescue someone I really dislike together?" she asked.

"Hey, Cordy," Zack said. "Sure."

"Okay, so I'm thinking it might actually be quite easy to find them, but I don't have a problem with letting Willow stay tied up for a while," she said, grinning. "Not that I'm like, cruel or anything."

"Of course not," Zack replied. "Besides, would defeat the point of the exercise not to take proper precautions before attempting a rescue. We might end up getting caught ourselves otherwise."

"Good point!" Cordy said. "And I bet Xandino is a real bastard. So how do we need to prepare? I have a stake on me, only slightly smelling of orange-pineapple Jello. I have a cricket bat back in my room I can grab, too. And maybe a flashlight? Flashlights seem to always come in handy."

"Plus they can double as blunt weapons," Zack pointed out. "I have a chemistry set up in my dorm-room, it shouldn't be too hard to whip up a batch of mace, or some form of anaesthetic."

Cordelia looked impressed. "You can do that? How long will it take?"

"Yes," Zack didn't look the least bit shifty when he said that. "Surprisingly little time, really. However considering the on-campus ban, a bluff might be just as effective as the real thing."

Cordelia nodded. "Of course. I've actually managed to not get detention yet, miraculously. Good call. So we mime mace and cricket bats. What next?"

[ooc: of course!]

Zack thought about it a minute. "It would be worth interrogating those who might know the locations of the hidden lair."

Cordelia nodded. "That would definitely be Bridge, Xander's boyfriend," she said.

"Indeed, but for all we know, he's in on the plot," Zack said. "We'll have to find a way to lower his defenses."

"Hitting him?" Cordy suggested.

"That's one option," Zack replied. "But I was thinking something a little more subtle."

"...he's standing right here, you know."

"Oh, hi Bridge!" Cordy said sweetly. "So....heard from Xander lately?"

"No." Bridge crosses his arms and looks at Cordy.

"Please tell us," Zack added. "That way we don't have drug or hit you."

"You can't do either," Bridge points out, "because the camp area is under surveillance, and you'd get caught."

Cordelia pouted. "For the sake of friendship, then?" she asked, batting her eyelashes.

"Plus, you're a possible accessory to a kidnapping," Zack pointed out. "Provided we don't do any permanent damage I'm sure we could make a case justifing any actions we take."

Cordelia quickly glances at Zack, visibly impressed.

She turns to Bridge. "Yeah!" she adds helpfully.

"Also, I've spent the past six years training at a police academy. Which probably gives me the upper hand when it comes to physical confrontation, I think."

"Hence the drugging you option," Zack said.
