Detention - 7/1

As the students arrive, they will notice that the Danger Shop has been transformed to look like an attic, not unlike the one in Halliwell Manor.

They will also notice the list of names on the wall, written in chalk:

Belthazor
Phoebe Halliwell
Joxer
Stark

"Today, you're going to make potions and write spells. You might even get to vanquish a demon," Piper says, glancing at each student. "Considering many of you slayed jello dragons yesterday, this shouldn't be too much trouble for you."

They probably don't notice the amused look in her eyes.

Stark gave Joxer an odd look. "It's a type of Banik," he clarified. "I'm an alien."

Because really, it's best to get that information out of the way. And sometimes it caused fun reactions.

"Right, right," Joxer said. "Is Alia somewhere on this continent? I'm kind of new to the geography here."

Joxer looked up, and instantly assumed Stark was from the attic.

"Greece," he said. "That way." He pointed eastward.

"Grease?" Stark thought that was an odd name for a place. "Is that far from here? I haven't been anywhere besides this island since I got here."

"I think a lot of us did. Were there wormholes?"

"A god was involved," Joxer said. "I don't know if it involved worms."

"Well, I mean, I'm not a priest or anything, so it's not like any one god is 'my' god," Joxer said. "But yeah, the gods have a tendency to do a lot to people, where I'm from."

"My dad wanted me to learn how to be a better warlord," Joxer said. "So he had me sent away."

"It's broadening my horizons," Joxer said. "I'm starting to think that being nice is better than being ruthless and mean."

"Ruthlessness has its place," Stark said slowly. "But why be like that all the time? Nice is good."

"Exactly," Joxer said. "But my dad would probably tell me ruthlessness keeps you in power and... a bunch of other old fashioned ideas."

"I'm the son of a warlord," Joxer said. "They aren't known for being nice."

"No, I guess they aren't," Stark agreed. "They're mostly known for killing things. And trying to kill things."
