Detention - 7/1

As the students arrive, they will notice that the Danger Shop has been transformed to look like an attic, not unlike the one in Halliwell Manor.

They will also notice the list of names on the wall, written in chalk:

"Today, you're going to make potions and write spells. You might even get to vanquish a demon," Piper says, glancing at each student. "Considering many of you slayed jello dragons yesterday, this shouldn't be too much trouble for you."

They probably don't notice the amused look in her eyes.

[OCD is up! Also, you'll be released at 5pm FHT or whenever the activities are completed.]

The room changes, now resembling a kitchen. Again, not unlike the one in Halliwell Manor.

Piper points out magic supplies consisting of ingredients and ceremonial bowls. "Use any ingredient you think will work. Do not even think these potions will work outside this room," she warned. "Don't forget to add water. And possibly boil it." She may regret that last part.

She pulls Phoebe aside. "We have a different potion to make."

Joxer's ingredients do not create a potion.

He instead has made turnip stew.

Which, all things considered, is pretty much a "gives you severe stomach discomfort and urgency issues" potion.

Stark's potion included black poppy, dwarf lotus, honey, and burdock.

It might not work as a potion, but it was very sweet. And possibly it was mildly narcotic as well.

Phoebe nods at her sister and starts setting up the ingredients and tools for the potion she and Piper are making.

"I hope this helps," Piper said, glancing at the ingredients.

Phoebe nodded and then bit her lip, looking at Piper. "It has to."

"Alright, shall we get started then?" Piper asked. She already started tossing ingredients into a bowl.

Phoebe nodded and started following Piper's lead. "Some of this stuff smells," she noted as she wrote the steps for the potion.

"Yeah," Piper agreed, making a face. "But it's for a good cause."

Phoebe nodded. "A very good cause." She stirred some of it. "I wish we dared to ask Grams for advice on this," she murmured quietly. "Oh, eew, that stinks."

"I know," Piper said. "But maybe it's better that we do this without her help. We can't always rely on her for everything, especially since she's on the other side of the country."

Phoebe nodded. "It's also probably a good idea that she doesn't find out the things we've had to deal with or do here."

"Or the stupid mistakes we've made," Piper said, thinking about the truth spell. She reached for a chalice and filled it with water. "We have to bless this."

Phoebe nodded. "Or the stupid choices we've made?" She was thinking of Crowley and sighed. "Yeah, we should do that before we do much more with the rest of it."

"I wonder if Grams would have made us leave with Paige if she knew about everything," Piper wondered, preparing to bless the chalice.

Phoebe smiled faintly. "As protective as she is over us? I'd say yes to that."

Piper smiled as well. "You're probably right."

Bel, nevous about playing with these ingredients, boiled water, then started to add his ingredients: wearboar tusk (one pinch), nymph hair (one lock), wraith essence (three drops), and black poppy (one level teaspoon).

When he added the black poppy, the potion exploded, knocking him on his ass.

Phoebe looked up in concern when she heard the explosion and then ran over to him. "Cole?"

"Ow," Cole said, getting to his feet and brushing himself off. "These things should come with warning labels."

Phoebe looked at the ingredients he was mixing and wondered if he had read the warning labels on the jars?

"Are you hurt?" Her eyes were full of concern.

"I'm okay," he insisted. "Just surprised me is all."

Phoebe touched his face looking him over to make sure he was okay. "Please to not be trying to vanquish my boyfriend, kay?" she said with a smile.

"I'm nervous about being around these enough as it is," Cole said. He dropped his voice. "This potion you're making -- maybe if you have a chance to add some of the demon's blood, you should do it. Tie it to it better."

Phoebe swallowed and looked at him. "If it comes out of the ground, I'll try to get some of his blood to add to it."

Of course, that meant getting close to it...
