Wed June 28 - Kurt opens die Bibliothek (the library)

Early mornings were not Kurt's friend.

However, that didn't stop him from bamfing! to the school and opening up the library after a few rounds on the gymnastic equipment in the gym.

Although he had not done it as much in the summer, Kurt did want to open the library at least a few times a week, to give students a chance to research, or read.

So coffee in hand, he greets the day, and sits at his desk.

After her morning workshop, Sakurazaki drifts into the library. She should probably take it easy, her best workouts were in the afternoon, blah blah blah. The excuses for allowing such a thing like going to the library are rampant in her head, but she's soon engrossed in her work, camcorder by her side. Sure, it was a library; people were supposed to be quiet. But you never knew...

Nadia came in in the afternoon, skipping GOB's workshop.

Hell, at least it meant she probably wouldn't get detention.

She pulled out her notebook with her list of people who seemed to be haunted, and started searching the stacks for books about ghosts.

Pippi flounced quietly into the library to return the book she got about brewing beer. She dropped it in the book return and noticed her friend wandering around.

"Hi there." she said with a soft smile. "Congratulations on not being one of the people having nightmares."

"Thanks. I'm rather glad whatever is making people see ghosts is skipping me." Nadia gestured to her books. "Doesn't mean I'm not going to help, though."

"Definitely." Pippi nodded. "Have you talked to anybody so far?"

"Just Alphonse and Veronica. That's how I knew something was going on. But I've got a list of the others who I think might be haunted."

"Going by the radio broadcast, I'd say Archie's a good bet." she said, "I left him a note this morning. And I think maybe Bel as well... We should prolly talk to Phoebe. She's got a book I think that might actually not be in here."

Pippi waved her hand to indicate the acres of books around them.

"She mentioned it to me when we found... Some stuff."

"I've got Archie and Bel on my list, along with a bunch of others. Hopefully I'll find something today." Nadia flipped through the book in front of her. "But most of this, so far, is just about what ghosts are, not how to get rid of them."

Parker came in after noon, having slept in, then surfed the web rather fruitlessly for information on ghosts, psychics, and anything aside from Egyptian books that could cause freak-outs in the same.

She wandered through the stacks after checking the card catalog, and almost bumped into Nadia. "Oh, hey, Nadia. Excuse me, I'm just trying to get to that shelf behind you."

"Hey Parker," Nadia stepped out of her way. "I don't suppose you know anything about ghosts?"

Parker blinked, then rolled her eyes. "Not enough. That's why I'm here, trying to research them. I'm guessing you know someone who's infested, or pestered, or otherwise being haunted?"

"More than one." Nadia gestured with her recently updated notes. "I've got nine people here who I either know are, or might be."

"Have you got Molly on there, I'm hoping? She had one helluva fright late last night in the common room." Parker grimaced, and gestured to the shelves. "The only downside to a great library? Too many options. The only things I've ruled out are traditional hauntings, and possessions. Oh, and the book Rory read. No pudding or frogs." She sighed, pushing her hair out of her face. "Anything I can do to help?"

"Yeah, I've got Molly." Nadia held out her notes page.

People who definitely have ghosts:
Alphonse - his mom
Veronica - Aaron Echolls (tried to kill her)
Molly - her parents (has two, others only one?)

People who probably do, according to the radio:
Archie - talking to someone, refrenced being haunted - Jack?
Bel - talked to people about ghosts, seemed distracted
Molly - seemed to be talking to someone, bad dreams
Draco - talked to himself
Lana - ran out of Scoobying, talked to herself
Tyler - "joins the ranks of the agitated"
Joxer? - acting weirder than usual last night

*Anakin can see Aaron. So can Bridge and Hamlet

"Just let me know if you think of anything else? Or start spreading the word that these guys aren't alone."

Parker read the list and nodded, noting Tyler's name and Bel's. "Tyler I remember because of the radio broadcast, and Hamlet said he was in Caritas earlier, and saw a few. He didn't mention who, by name. And Bel was definitely acting off in Archery; talk to Isabel, maybe, they seemed to be in a pretty intense conversation there for a while, when we were supposed to be dodging arrows."

Parker frowned. "You could send out a school-wide e-mail for this? Or I could, if you want. I know I-Club has been pretty much down for the summer, but this is the kind of thing more people need to know about." She scowled at the books in her hand. "Damnit. I wish I weren't leaving on Friday. Even odds that this won't get fixed before then, and if I don't go home, my father will... be very unhappy."

Tim entered the library and spotted all the books on ghosts on the tables. "Popular subject." he remarked. "Room for one more pair of eyes?"

Isabel stopped in after karate. A glance through the card catalog sent her to the section on ghosts. Biting her lip, she started flipping through titles.

"Hey Izzy." Tim said. "You too huh?"

"Hi Tim," Isabel said. "Not me, but a friend. I figured I'd do some reading."

"Actually what I meant yeah." Tim said. "with the research." he found a likely looking book, big, thick, and old.

"Yup, time to hit the books. Unfortunately I need to get to practice," she said as she selected several books off the shelf. "So it looks like I'll be taking my research to go."

Tim flipped through the book he'd found. Wow he'd picked just the right one it looked like.
