Study Hall -- Friday, September 16th

This is the study hall for Friday. I've ordered pizza and soda for you little bastards, although God knows you don't deserve it after the week I've had.

I'll be in my office, finishing off a bottle of Southern Comfort. Or two.

A few announcements:

-- Students are reminded that fandomhigh should ONLY be used for the posting of classes and school-related activities. In fact, to be honest, if we could try to keep the posts in fandomhigh to just the classes, it would be appreciated. Anything that happens in the dorms that involves more than a few students -- get-togethers, common room gatherings, pillow fights and sleepovers full of subtext -- can take place in fandomhighdorms. As for anything else, please try to restrict them to your personal journals, as it tends to get difficult to locate classes otherwise.

-- Students are also reminded that they DO need to attend classes. This is NOT optional. The school policy is once a week in each class, but each teacher has their own attendence policies that should be followed accordingly. I will be going through the student rosters in a couple of weeks and any students who are not attending classes as they should will be expelled.

-- Any clubs who haven't met in a while should try to meet this upcoming week. Clubs should meet once every two weeks at least.

-- Also, the cafeteria is filled with Jell-O. As in, to the roof. Hence the pizza.

Marty loses his train of thought totally derails when their hands touch and loses track of what Angela just said.

"Yeah well... Dreams usually are int-"

Marty suddenly realizes she was talking about Orpheus*

"Oh you mean... Yeah. Him."

Marty coughs and pulls his hand away embarrassed.

"So work, huh? I never did buy that record. Maybe tonight I'll swing by... I mean, if that's okay?"

"Dreams can be ... very intense," Angela says, blushing even more. "Um ... yeah. Rob said we have the record. I should be there from six until ten or so. I'll make sure it's at the counter for you."

Marty swallows hard and makes the leap.

"And after ten... what kind of plans do you have then?"

Shakes head, embarrassed.

"Right. Hanging out with the girls."

Angela makes a vague motion in the air and giggles nervously. "I'm helping Parker with her ... study group. I think it will go pretty late. So, um..."

[OOC: She's already going to need to be in two places at once. Let's not try to make it three, because my head will explode. Also, I might not be back online until late, so we may need to slowplay this over the weekend. Hey, we knew this was complicated.]

Marty's eyes narrow at Parker's name.

"Parker?"

*That doesn't sound good. She's not exactly the most sane person*

Angela shrugs. "I know, but I owe it to her. Trust me. It should be fine, there will be plenty of people there."

"Anyhow, you're going to be locked up with Angelus all weekend."

Marty smiles.

"Oh... if need be I can handle him. I've got my holy water, stake and cross at the ready. Plus I think Principal Connor is keeping him on a short leash these days. Plus he and I have an... agreement. Don't ask."

Angela nods, wary. "Okay, I won't. Now. I guess I'm happy you're so ... prepared."

She glances at her watch. "I should head back to my room, I need to drop off some stuff before I go to work. See you later tonight, maybe?"

Marty grins.

"Prepared? Me? Yeah. I'm just like a boy scout."

He plays with the flower in Angela's hair one last time.

"I'll see if I can make it over to the record shop. I've got comparative religion and martial arts and I'm not sure when I'll get out of them. So.. hopefully, I'll see you later."
