Pip took a tray of Reveeuli to a table and lit a cigarette. It had been a while since he had eaten here.

Pippi also had a plate full of Reveeuli and slid into a seat in the "smoking section".

"Hey."

"Hiya," Pip said. "How's tricks?"

"I haven't tried to play any." she said. "Not since... That Sunday nobody can remember very much of... But I ended up not doing it."

She thought about that for a moment and then shrugged.

"River and I are teaching ourselves to talk to Squirrels."

"Creature languages independant study?" Pip asked.

Pippi nods.

"Ya," she said. "My documentary for the Filmmaking workshop is about the animals that live on the island. And we seem to have a fairly active squirrel populations... Besides us that is."

Pip nodded. He stared at his ravioli. "Hey, remember Togusa?"

"Japanese guy." she mused, "Had an adorable talking tank?"

Pip nodded. "Yeah, my old roommate. I kind of miss him, now that I think about it."

"He was nice." she nodded. Pippi regarded her friend across the table for a moment, he'd been spending a lot of time in his room it seemed ~~while his mun was living it up in the UK the bastard~~.

"What brought this on?"

"I dunno. Talked to my grandfather last night. Realized that I kind of missed the guys. I hadn't exactly lived on my own before."

"You're not on your own Pip." she said reaching across the table, "You just have your own room."
