Basketball game, gym -- 1:30 FHT Saturday

The other equipment in the gym has been moved out of the way, and it's finally game day. There are t-shirts for the blue and gold gremlins on each bench and a heavy air of expectation in the air.

Mostly, expectation that something will go horribly wrong. But it's expectation anyhow.

Anders winced at the headbutting and sighed as he cleared the ball out to half court. "And people tell me I'm weird."

He did the slightly awkward crossover dribble he'd been working on (which was really dumb since he was pretty much open at the moment) and scanned the court to find that Tyler looked to be in good position.

"Tyler! Comin' your way, man!" he called, bounce-passing the ball over.

Tyler glanced up and just caught the ball. He wove around John and Cam on the way to the net and jumped, dunking the ball.

As he did, the referee blew the whistle. Five minutes to go.
