Basketball game, gym -- 1:30 FHT Saturday

The other equipment in the gym has been moved out of the way, and it's finally game day. There are t-shirts for the blue and gold gremlins on each bench and a heavy air of expectation in the air.

Mostly, expectation that something will go horribly wrong. But it's expectation anyhow.

GOB clapped as he walked onto the court after the final whistle. 22-18, Gold won.

"Good going, gold team! Go pick your cheerleaders. Blue team, I want all of your mothers' phone numbers so I can call them, tell them their sons are jackasses, and listen to them laugh at you! Hit the showers, everyone!"
