Basketball game, gym -- 1:30 FHT Saturday

The other equipment in the gym has been moved out of the way, and it's finally game day. There are t-shirts for the blue and gold gremlins on each bench and a heavy air of expectation in the air.

Mostly, expectation that something will go horribly wrong. But it's expectation anyhow.

[OOC: Cheer or watch the first half here and the second half here. Rules are still here. Game chat is fhballgame.]

John takes the ball out, completely aware of the time ticking away. Seeing Conner making a run for the basket, John lobs it up for him again and crosses his fingers.

Conner's done higher leaps than this before. He was just usually in a different kind of uniform. Still, this worked the last two times they tried it, so why not?

He makes a running leap for the basket and snags the ball in midair, stuffing it through the hoop.

"Aw, yeah!"

Peter took the ball out and dribbled it in quickly, dodging defenders and going straight for the layup.

The ball bounced off the backboard almost directly back at Peter who tried to tip it tone of his teammates.

And Greg, through some miracle, managed to catch the ball, dribble to the side of the hoop, and make a fairly clean shot.

Yes. He's just as shocked as the rest of you.

Jamie takes possession of the ball and dribbles by the court occasionally making trash talk. He then rushes the basked and makes a lay-up shot. Woot!
