Basketball game, gym -- 1:30 FHT Saturday

The other equipment in the gym has been moved out of the way, and it's finally game day. There are t-shirts for the blue and gold gremlins on each bench and a heavy air of expectation in the air.

Mostly, expectation that something will go horribly wrong. But it's expectation anyhow.

The score was 12-10, Gold Team leading.

GOB walked up to the gold team and smiled. "You're doing good. You're playing well, good hustle, the cheerleaders want you bad. Don't screw it up or you'll look like a bunch of jackasses. Go team!"

GOB moved on to the blue team and shook his head. "You guys... You're playing like crap! What's wrong with you? Focus. Shoot. Win. Pass the ball, ball movement is key. Good hustle, but that's not enough to stop making you look like jackasses. Do better or the cheerleaders will laugh at you. I'll call your mothers and they'll laugh at you. Got that? Go team! Get out of my sight!"
