"Good morning," Jarod grinned, more focused than he'd been the week before. He was also wearing a swimsuit and his hair was damp. There was also a battery-operated CD player, currently playing The Beach Boys' greatest hits. "It's getting a bit warmer, so I thought we could try something a little different today. Today we'll be surfing. We have a collection of surfboards or bodyboards for you to choose from. Be careful with them, though, since they're on loan."

"Also," he said, gesturing towards a pile of equipment over on the sand, "we've got wetsuits available, if the water's too cold for you."

He grinned, possibly anticipating getting back out and doing some surfing for himself. "For those of you who don't want to surf, there's also some snorkeling equipment. All I ask is that you be careful, swim with a buddy, and snorkel in an area away from where people are surfing, so we don't have any accidents. Or there's always the get a tan and build sand castles option."

The CD player switched to Jan and Dean. "Go have fun!"

"M's drunk on the power of being a head of an organization," Jarod chuckled. "She probably won't listen to you."

"I can advise her. Like the CIA advises foreign powers." She leaned against Jarod and shook her head. "I need kitten bonding time anyway. She's not a baby any more. Have to do my godmotherly duty while she's still young."

"It's not like you don't know where she is."

"If that's an invitation, I could use a key, you know." Parker looked at him over her sunglasses. "Not that you have to. But it would help. Especially with your gorgons and dragons as doorkeepers." She dug her toes in the sand. "Who knows who might be waiting for you when you get home, some nights."

"A key?" The thought honestly hadn't occurred to Jarod. "If it's okay with Becky and Miho, we can do that."

Parker may have grinned to herself, and nodded happily. "Since other things have been delayed. And hey, there's M to consider. She's a growing cat. She needs a role model." She smiled wickedly at him. "I'd give you the key code to my room, but, well. Moot point."

"Yes, very moot," Jarod chuckled. "And I don't think you need to teach M anything."
