Fun With Physics - Friday

The danger shop was done up to look like downtown Manhattan for the class. Specifically the spot just outside of the actual Stark Tower there.

"Welcome back, everyone! Hopefully you've been hard at work on your first project," Tony said.

Steve nodded. "The safe spaces for quail or ostrich eggs," he added, just in case muns had forgotten students needed the reminder.

"You'll still have the option to drop from halfway up the building--" Still very high up. "--or the top of the building. We'll leave that up to you."

Tony knew which one he'd pick for sure.

"Did you make an apparatus?" Steve asked Tony with a small grin.

"I did!" It flew. And had an AI. Tony. Tony, no.

"Well, you can go last," Steve said, grinning. "Who wants to go first?"

Illyana had gotten an idea she was pretty sure would work for her small egg, and she'd wanted to see if it would scale.

First, she had her quail egg in a family-sized soup can, packed in tightly with a thick cornstarch paste, and then the lid duct-taped on, and bubble warp encasing the entire thing.

She also had an oil drum packed with enough jello to make a pack of 1950s housewives swoon. Mixing up that much cornstarch had not been possible, but bribing a bunch of middle school lunch ladies? Illyana had been able to do that, and her ostrich egg was suspended in it.

"Which one do we want to do first?" she asked.
