"It's not insulting and I guess it is a little, but she'd doing what she thinks is best for me and I know it'd be pointless to argue with her on this." she replied.

"Well you'll certainly be missed." Tim said. "For one thing who's gonna be my moral compass when it comes to messing with the time stream?" he smirked.

"I'm sorry we didn't get chance to hang more," she replied looked up at him, "and I'd like to think you'll remember what I said so I won't actually have to be here to stop you from causing a gigantic rip in the time-space continum."

Tim smirked. "I'll try, but it's like Stumpy trying to resist the temptation to push the history eraser button."

Paige raised an eyebrow, "who pressing the what?"

"Sorry, cartoon called Rin and Stumpy. In order to keep Stumpy out of trouble, Rin, who had gone crazy, put Stumpy in charge of guarding the history eraser button. Didn't work out well."

"Ah right okay," she replied.

"There are cartoons out there that make this place seem normal." Tim said. "Anyway, I wish you luck back home."

Paige smirked, "I think that might be a bit of an exageration!" she replied, "and thanks, I think it'll be okay, for a while at least."

"Well, none of us are going to be able to stay here forever." Tim said. "Just, y'know, keep in touch."

"I will definitely, you'll probably hear from more once I'm gone than you did while I was here." she told him.

Tim grinned. "I see no bad there. That does remind me I'm due to write home myself. I don't get on that this place might get a small invasion of well meaning Fae thinking something horrible's happened to me. Or just one Banshee."

Paige smirked, "the great thing is if that did happen no one would even notice anything was amiss, they'd just assume they were new students."

Tim snerked. "Yes, but what students. The Banshee, Luchorpan, Bannik, Hobgoblin and Phooka might not raise any eyebrows, but the Mongol Warlord ghost would possibly be disruptive."

"Only possibly? In that case I think you'll get away with it!"

Tim grinned. "Long as they didn't know he was with me." Tim said.

"I'm sure no one would know," she assured him, sighing, "I should probably get going, lots of people to speak to before I leave you know."

"Right." Tim said. "Bye Paige."

She was purposely not saying goodbye, it was too final, "catch you later Tim," she replied with a small smile, picking up the still full try and heading away. She wasn't really hungry anyway.

Tim liked hers better.
