Today the class had been asked to assemble at Portalocity, from whence they would visit a lovely winery in the south of France.

"Today we will be learning to appreciate wine," Yennefer told the students before they stepped through the portal. "Here is how it works: a very snooty man will go on at you about the 'notes.' He will tell you you can smell and taste all sorts of things in the wine. You will smile and nod and pretend that you can certainly do that. The wine will smell and taste like wine. You will enjoy the wine, and the little nibbles that come with it. Does anyone have any questions? No?" she said before anyone could even attempt to ask a question. "Good. Let's get on with it."

Jon had a vague idea of what some of the notes should taste like, so he did do his best to figure them out. But yes, it was still mostly wine.
