Rory opened the library on the wrong day, for the short period of time after morning workshops but before those of the afternoon. She hoped people would forgive her for it and come in anyway.

She lounged behind the desk, wishing for a fan and making notes of who she should contact for the newspaper thing.

[Yes, should've been up yesterday. No, I have absolutely no good excuse other than that I forgot. *deserves to be flogged or something* No OCD threads, so play at will]

Tim entered in search of a library card, because he'd spotted several books last time he was in here that might be interesting or usefull.

"Hi, can I help you?" Rory asked, looking up.

"Do I know you?" Rory asked, blinking.

Elizabeth came in just after lunch to return books she'd *handwavily* borrowed last time she was in the library. "Hey, Rory."

"Hi, Liz," Rory said, waving. "What's new and different?"

"Not much really. Discovered that I can't make up gossip to save my life. Or, just to write a workshop assignment," Elizabeth said, grinning slightly sheepishly. "And my cunning plan involving brownie making failed miserably when I realized that I have none of the ingredients. How about you?"

"We met a few days ago, I'm tim. You were having trouble seeing so I guess it would be kind of confusing. Plus I think I saw you get pulled into the coffee pond by a flying dog while I was sitting upside down on a bench, but that might have been the blood rushing to my brain."

"Oh, I read a thing last week, caused trouble, all turned out okay, and really, I'm just having a bad hair day, now," Rory replied.

"Oh, you're the one Anakin was talking to. Hi," Rory said. "Yeah, I can see now and stuff. Is there something I can help you find?"

"Oh, so that explains all the kooky things," Elizabeth said. She tilted her head and looked at Rory critically. "I think our definitions of bad hair days differ. It looks fine to me."

"I was hoping to get a library card." tim said. "There were some books I wanted to check out when I was in here last time."

"I slept on it wet and the humidity is making it frizz, so bah," Rory replied. "And yeah, I caused the pudding rain and the kitties and stuff."

"Sure." Rory handed over the form. "Need your name, dorm room number, and grade level."

"I have curls. I don't need humidity to make mine frizz," Elizabeth said, tugging slightly at a lock of hair. "Huh. Just by reading something?"
