Clockwork workshop, lesson 4

“Alright boys” Agatha said as she walked into the workshop room and glanced up at the boys in question. “Today we are going to actually build the clock housing. Make sure to leave enough room inside for the mechanism.”

She placed several sets of tools on the table as well as some metals and woods.

“These should be all the raw materials you need. Follow your blueprints. Ask for help if or when you need it. Don’t get hurt.”

Archie set to work fitting together the pieces for his clock housing, making sure there was ample room inside. This part wasn't hard; it was a simple construction job, really, and he was comfortable with those. It was going to be the inner workings that would be a problem . . .

"The housing is fine," Archie said slowly. "There's just so many pieces!"

Embarrassed, Archie chuckled a little bit. "This is what I get for making my choice based on appearances."
