Gambit was, in fact, absolutely late getting to class today.

"Right," he said, not missing a beat as he strode across the otherwise unprogrammed room and hit some buttons. A movie theater appeared around them, with a little cliche popcorn bucket and soda cup dancing on the screen. "Movie day. Have fun. Try not to learn anything stupid."

He was such a good teacher. No really!

That bit about kung fu movies and musicals in the movie watching thread is legit how this movie was sold to me the one time I watched it.

I had just finished driving overnight from DC to Tampa after a full 8 hour shift the day before. About halfway through the movie I turned to my friend in the theaters and went "what the fuck is going on?"

And then still didn't go to sleep until after we all went to see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that evening. Because 23 year old me was an idiot.
