Book Fair

Giles had gotten up at ack o'clock and actually had toted five boxes of books to the Fandom High Gym before he "cheated."

Everything was now set up neatly on tables, and separated by genre.

There was also coffee and hot water urns, bottled water, and a variety of pastries and breads set on a table near the register.

The First Annual Fandom High Book Fair was open for business.

[ooc: Hang on to your collective hats while I get the OCD threads up, please.

Threads are UP. Whew. I think you all know how this works. Go look for a book. Up to you whether you find it or not. No, there is no magic/new age section. Yes, Giles has planned it that way.

Willow spotted it in one of the other sections. "Here you go! It's that fairy tale? With the princess and the brothers who are swans? Only they made it about real magic. Phoebe might like it from a witchy perspective."

"You got beat up for me," Willow said. "I'd say we're even. Though that doesn't mean I won't take you up on the offer to zorch some frogs."

"Oh," Willow said. She nodded agreement to that. "Right. Besides Buffy."

"Haven't gone up against her," Bel said. "Besides, she's not a normal human."

Willow grinned and playfully aimed a punch at his arm.

She snickered, knowing he was faking it. All the same she teased, "I could take you."

"Who's a vampire," Willow said, any possible double entendre whizzing right over her head. "So I guess you're right about that."

The double entendre was purely intentional unintentional. Bel shrugged. "Well, like I said, haven't gone up against Buffy, so who knows? But some guy like Tyler isn't gonna be able to take me."

"I've been trying to avoid him," Willow said. "I saw him in the library the other day and - " she shivered.

That icon cracks me up every time "Oh no," Willow said. "He didn't come near me. Maybe because other people were around? I just tried to not make eye contact."
