Book Fair

Giles had gotten up at ack o'clock and actually had toted five boxes of books to the Fandom High Gym before he "cheated."

Everything was now set up neatly on tables, and separated by genre.

There was also coffee and hot water urns, bottled water, and a variety of pastries and breads set on a table near the register.

The First Annual Fandom High Book Fair was open for business.

[ooc: Hang on to your collective hats while I get the OCD threads up, please.

Threads are UP. Whew. I think you all know how this works. Go look for a book. Up to you whether you find it or not. No, there is no magic/new age section. Yes, Giles has planned it that way.

That's it! Go to town! Wait. No. Stay here and buy stuff...]

Nadia was starting to grin like an idiot. "¿Flojo? Hemos sido más activos en los últimos días entonces nuestra relación entera. ¿Usted desea quizá probar las manillas otra vez?"

Of course, if she wasn't careful, she'd be thinking in Spanish again. It was always hard to switch back to English.

"You're having me on now." Walter poked her with one of his books and stuck his tongue out before grinning. "At least I'm willing to learn during summer vacation when I'm supposed to be skiving off."

"Yes, more than workshops," Nadia stuck her tongue out at him. "And yes I did. It didn't really work though."

Walter reciprocated. "I think that any time I actually answer to Fishgrenade, you can be fairly certain I'm being weird on purpose."

Walter raised his eyebrows. "I didn't hear your conversation with him. I was a bit busy with Jamie."

"Arthur is like that. He's smart enough to run Hellsing and keep Alucard under control, but he's potty. He drinks, he hires prostitutes, he acts like a complete waste of time, but underneath it, he's crazy like a fox." Walter shrugged. "It's why I put up with him."

Nadia thought about this and nodded slowly. "But, still, I only ever had to deal with Marco, not work for him."
