Tasks!- Monday- 3rd period

Today in the Danger Shop, the students would arrive to their little individual house simulations. Once they stepped outside, they would find a basketball, a basketball hoop, and a task.

Get the basketball through the hoop. You may not touch the basketball with your hands, you may not wear gloves or anything that could be reasonably construed to be gloves. Powers are not allowed. Best time wins. Your time starts now.

Simple enough!

Once upon a time, in another life, Quinn had been a volleyball player. A really good one, too.

So, once she managed to get the basketball up into the air the first time, it wouldn't be too hard to bump it with her forearms and get it through the basket. And as for getting it up there in the first place?

Well, she wasn't much of a soccer player, but with a little work, she got it between her feet and with a few false starts, managed to get it in the air high enough for a good bump.

. . . Huh. It was possible she'd missed playing sports. Who knew?

Sometimes Stark got stuck overthinking things. Making them far more complicated than they needed to be.

Not today.

Today he looked at the hoop, grinned, and got to work.

Portable basketball hoops were just that. Portable. He had it laying on the ground soon enough and kicked the ball through the hoop.

Lana spent entirely too long trying to use a long piece of wood she found to lever or bat the thing into the hoop.

Eventually she gave up and found a hammer and nail and nailed the ball to the wood, then dropped the whole thing in.

The rules had never said the ball still had to be inflated.
