"I want you today to come up with the identity that goes with those documents -- what makes that person different from you, what's the same? Even if you used your real name, if you were trying to get out of a sticky situation, what lies would you tell about yourself?"

"All the really good lies have some basis in truth, and it's best to practice them in advance. Knowing your persona before you start getting quizzed by a cop can be a lifesaver."

Caleb was glad he'd gotten documentation with his "real" name as well but it was definitely a good idea to practice with the fake one.

"You should have had enough time to figure out your shite," he said bluntly. "So stand up."

"Give us your name, where you're from, favorite food, or place to travel, or name of your pets. What do you do for a living? What are your parents names? Where did they grow-up?"

"A good persona is a well-rounded one. Let's see what you've come up with."
