Cupcakes of the World(s), Friday 1/16, Period 3

“This week,” Stark said once everyone had arrived, “I thought we’d start with somewhere I’m not from but sometimes I’m told I sound like I’m from. Sometimes I’m a koala and those are from Australia even if I’m not when I’m my usual self.”

Did you all know your teacher was a koala on occasion? You did now!

“Australia is a country here, on Earth,” Stark said. “In case any of you aren’t aware. I should have brought a map. Next time. We can mark off where we’ve had cupcakes from. Keep track of it.”

He’d try to remember that for next week and the following weeks.

“First off, I have the recipe for today’s cupcakes. They’re lamington cupcakes because lamingtons are a dessert in Australia. This is just that but made into a cupcake. Cake, chocolate, and coconut.”

“So, you have the recipe. We have all the ingredients and equipment you might need. I’ve made frosting already, if anyone wants to use that instead of making their own. But first off we’ll need to make the cupcakes. If you need help, please ask. I’m happy to help. Always.”

Hannibal was happy to bake cupcakes. And he would absolutely be making his own frosting, too, no offense, Stark.

Charlie was not making cupcakes. She wasn't allowed to bake things. No, really. You didn't want to know what happened when Charlie attempted that. Something about the mixing flared her Wild magic and... well, nothing had grown outside Aunt Ellen's kitchen in the last zix years and cousin Trish was still traumatized.

She'd be watching cheerfully from the sidelines.
