Wilderness Survival - Week 3| Thursday Morning, A Clearing in the Woods

Callisto pointed to the lockbox. "Shoes."

Once she had everyone's shoes, she started walking out of the clearing. "Follow."

Then she took them on a little scenic walk.



With lots of lovely terrain, like mud, sand, rocks, dense undergrowth, a small pond or three.

And lets not forget the ever present pudding rain.

When they finally reached the end of the walking trail, she turned around to face the class.

"Dismissed."

She just replied to him by giggling, and singing a bit of song.
"Unicorns and cannonballs,
Palaces and piers,
Trumpets, towers, and tenements,

Hamlet reached out to touch her, while she kept staring at a spot past his right ear. Ophelia's skin felt cold and wet, as though she'd spent the last few weeks lying at the bottom of a river. He'd been hoping that seeing her there was merely a figment of his imagination, but knowing that he could actually touch her made things sink in.

"Where did you come from? How did you get here? What are you doing in the Fandom Preserve, of all places?"

Ophelia continued ignoring his questions, and picked at her dead flowers a bit.

Hamlet continued watching Ophelia in concern, wondering what exactly had happened to the girl he had loved once.

"Well, at the very least, it would be inadvisable for you to stay around here. It has been raining pudding this week."

Taking her clammy hand, he led her out of the forest, down the way the rest of the class had gone.
