Wilderness Survival - Week 3| Thursday Morning, A Clearing in the Woods

Callisto pointed to the lockbox. "Shoes."

Once she had everyone's shoes, she started walking out of the clearing. "Follow."

Then she took them on a little scenic walk.



With lots of lovely terrain, like mud, sand, rocks, dense undergrowth, a small pond or three.

And lets not forget the ever present pudding rain.

When they finally reached the end of the walking trail, she turned around to face the class.

"Dismissed."

"Define better," Callisto said flatly. "Did he put you up to this?"

She shakes her head, and notice she doesn't need to ask who he is. "See, when a friend attacks me and I can't think of a reason, I kind of like to at least try and figure out what's going on."

"Trust me," Callisto said. "You don't want to know."

Aeryn nods. "All right. If, by some chance, you do need to talk, though... You know where to find me."

If she's going to make an effort, might as well start with the one that actually scared her.

"I'll remember that," Callisto said. She paused for a long moment befre adding "Sorry."

"It's fine," Aeryn tells her, and for once actually means the word in context. "I'll see you later," she says, before heading back towards the dorms.
