Archery Workshop #3, 6/6, Danger Shop, Afternoon

The Danger Shop was set up much like it had been the week before: outdoors, targets, bows, quivers, except this time the arrows have the more traditional points on them, as opposed to suction cups. There is no blackboard, as Miho is being optimistic and hopes her students are smart enough to figure out what to do. The sign-in sheet is on a folding table near the entrance.

Miho prowls up and down the line of students, a pad of detention slips and a pen in hand and a tiny, very scary smile on her face. She was initially going to give the whole class detention just for the heck of it, but Goldie said she didn't think teachers were allowed to do that.

Actually, the real pointy objects? Make Conner a little nervous. Which is silly, considering he used to run around with a sword a lot defying the laws of physics.

His hands were sweating because of the pointy-object-induced nervousness, which made it slow going; he had to keep stopping to wipe his hands off on his jeans before his fingers slipped too badly on the bowstring.

Conner only completely missed the target twice, which was better than last week, though only five ended up in the approximate vicinity of the bulls-eye. The rest of his arrows clustered in groups around the edges of the target.
