Archery Workshop #3, 6/6, Danger Shop, Afternoon

The Danger Shop was set up much like it had been the week before: outdoors, targets, bows, quivers, except this time the arrows have the more traditional points on them, as opposed to suction cups. There is no blackboard, as Miho is being optimistic and hopes her students are smart enough to figure out what to do. The sign-in sheet is on a folding table near the entrance.

Miho prowls up and down the line of students, a pad of detention slips and a pen in hand and a tiny, very scary smile on her face. She was initially going to give the whole class detention just for the heck of it, but Goldie said she didn't think teachers were allowed to do that.

Dawn nodded politely to Miho, then collected her bows and arrows and put on the safety equipment. Her hair was already tied back so it wouldn't get caught in the bowstring.

She shot a lot of arrows at the target, but wasn't completely accurate until she got used to using a bow instead of a crossbow. Even then, anyone watching would think she was continually off-center--she kept hitting the heart of the target, instead of the bulls eye.
