Steve was back in the water, his shoulder in a much more low-key brace. Anakin was busy corralling the pool noodles and looked up as everyone arrived.

"Since I'm still only about 80 percent," Steve began, "it's an excellent day to show how even not-great swimmers can help someone who's flailing. Today, we're going to work on floating on your back."

Thrilling, right?

"Everyone in the water," Anakin said, nodding.

Once you're in the water, put a pool noodle under each arm and allow them to lift your upper body up. "Different people have different degrees of buoyancy," Steve said. "Tip your hips up, but don't think that you're doing it wrong if your toes don't pop up to the top, too. The idea is to keep your head out of the water and relax. This is a good way to just stay afloat without the effort of treading water."
