"Last week, we started exploring Rome, and I said we were going to do kind of a little unit on Rome," Raiden said. "And we are. But we're going to have to get back to that later, because this week we're headed to Munich, Germany, for their famous Oktoberfest! Now, Oktoberfest is a festival mainly celebrating beer, but that doesn't mean there's nothing there for you if you're not into beer. There's lots of food and rides, concerts and events--I think today is the Oktoberfest church service, which is a thing that exists--and just generally fun for everyone. So let's head to Oktoberfest and have some fun!

"Before we get there, though, when we go through the portal we're going to stop off first at a dirndl and lederhosen rental place, so anyone who wants to can get properly outfitted. It's on me!" He hoped they had lederhosen in his size. "Now we can go."

Nell was not wearing a dirndl, thank you very much, though she appreciated Raiden's offer of course. Nor was it at all likely that she would even come anywhere close to approaching too wild.

Still, she was very interested in all the Oktoberfest activities!
