Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, Saturday, All Day

So, it wasn't Fall yet by a long shot. The temperatures were still high, the leaves were still green, and the calendar still said August. But the calendar of consumerism didn't care about reality and thus, the welcome picnic was decorated for fall. The tables were covered in reds, oranges, and yellows, there was apple cider in the punch bowls and, of course, if the food on the table could come in pumpkin spice form, it was here in pumpkin spice form.

"There is," Stark sighed. "Perhaps I should do that?"

"If you don't meet them now, you probably will another time," she pointed out. So it could only be so scary.

"I think there were new names, in my class," Stark said. "So I'll see them Tuesday at least. If not today. But I should say hello. You came up and said hello when I first came back. It helped."

"Dealing with trauma," Stark said. "Other people's. How...not to make things worse for each other, really."
