Paintball! Some More! Tuesday, July 22

There were dogs at the class again! Fortunately, one of them was no longer Steve, and the puppies--one Husky and one Belgian Shepherd--seemed to be doing their best to listen to him. (Their best wasn't great, but they were trying!)

"Hi everyone!" Steve said.

"Meet our newest assistants, Liberty and Fee," Tony said brightly, holding up a pair of dog harnesses that held little paintball guns on them. "They'll be going through the obstacle course we've set up along with you as some extra opponents."

Oh no, they'd armed the puppies.

"Or they'll just tackle you and drool," Steve said with a chuckle. "They aren't very intimidating."

The course in question might look vaguely familiar, but they were human sized. And that'd be fun for everyone, right?

"Even more than originally anticipated," Watts nodded. "The elopement was- unexpected." All elopements were, technically, on some level.

Steve blinked. "How unexpected?"

"Steven proposed- during our dinner celebrating the beginning of- our courtship," Watts was blushing now, still not quite accustomed to discussing his relationship so openly, even if it was far from a secret. "The idea came to him rather spur of the moment."

"Tony proposed by throwing a ring at my head," Steve said with a little grin over at his husband, "but we didn't get married immediately after that. You didn't want to wait?"

Watts shook his head. "We wanted something that was- just for us. Waiting would have- complicated that."

Steve bent down to scritch behind Libby's ears. "So your hotel had a wedding area set up already?"

"It was the sort of place that did see 'destination weddings' somewhat regularly," Watts said. "Right on the Aegean, very picturesque. And the staff were very helpful as far as recommending a place to get the rings, and tracking down a rabbi on short notice."

"That was really nice of them," Steve agreed. "It took forever for Tony and I to quietly set everything up, and AIM found us anwyay. Were you on Mykonos?"

"We were on Folegandros, at a resort where the rooms were actually built into the cliff face," Watts told him. "I'm afraid I'm not familiar with AIM?"

"They're from Tony's universe," Steve explained. "Try to take over the world, are generally pretty bad at it, wear weird yellow suits. They tried to kidnap Patriot from our island but, again, they're bad at it."

"Ah!" Watts nodded. "Steven did mention the attempted dognapping, yes."

"Everyone was fine," Steve said. "The house needs to be redone, but Tony's on it."

"Unfortunate about the house, but- as you say, that can be rebuilt."
