Paintball! Some More! Tuesday, July 22

There were dogs at the class again! Fortunately, one of them was no longer Steve, and the puppies--one Husky and one Belgian Shepherd--seemed to be doing their best to listen to him. (Their best wasn't great, but they were trying!)

"Hi everyone!" Steve said.

"Meet our newest assistants, Liberty and Fee," Tony said brightly, holding up a pair of dog harnesses that held little paintball guns on them. "They'll be going through the obstacle course we've set up along with you as some extra opponents."

Oh no, they'd armed the puppies.

"Or they'll just tackle you and drool," Steve said with a chuckle. "They aren't very intimidating."

The course in question might look vaguely familiar, but they were human sized. And that'd be fun for everyone, right?

Arden, attending class with Cal, zipped around the field, a very fast and tiny target.

Cal would have been distracted making sure no one shot Arden to begin with, but with puppies? There was no chance and no surprise that he was out in an instant, but he got to pet a dog in return, so was he really a loser?

And at least once or twice Arden landed on Cal to rest/hide, so he got birdie nuzzles in addition to petting the puppies.

Thor felt it made perfect sense that the bird was excelling at this task. Aside from being very small and maneuverable, Thor, at least, feared to hit her with a paintball lest it prove fatal.

How poorly he was doing he could only attribute to the chaos of Steve and Tony's dogs.

Stark had no idea his afternoon was going to be something of a disaster. For now he was just going to try and shoot Anakin and try not to be too distracted by puppies.

But puppies.

Anakin was going to blame the puppies for how he tripped over one of the jump...things...right in front of Stark.

(It was in no way the fault of the puppies.)

Stark may have giggled, just a little, as he shot Anakin. Just a little.

The giggles would probably be short-lived. He was doomes. He was always doomed.
