Today Lana was in her casual-for-her-own-galaxy clothing, meaning a tunic and leggings with armored boots. She greeted them all with a smile as they waited for the portal. "Today we're headed to Dantooine for a farmer's market. Blba Groves is where they hold their Spring Abundance festival; we're a bit late for that, but they still have plenty of vegetables, fruits, and pies."

She hesitated. "You probably won't enjoy the one with tentacles, but far be it from me to order you not to try it."

The portal arrived, and they stepped out onto a square that was composed of stone, with little booths around it and various species offering the fruits (ha) of their labors. Outside of the area they were in, there were a few small houses, then grass and farmlands as far as they could see.

They were immediately bombarded by calls from farmers to come inspect their goods.

"Enjoy yourselves; we've got about an hour." No time shenanigans today; you wouldn't need any longer.

Lana laughed. "Deal with it, city boy." As if she wasn't a city girl herself. "Find me a good market in New York and we can go there, too," she offered. "But I'm going for a wide range."

If this was too slow for you, Jack, there were always the Jedi ruins.

There was no way in hell Jack was getting anywhere near the former Jedi Enclave in any era, thank you.

"You want me to go digging for farmer's markets in New York?" he said, deliberately misunderstanding. "That's sick and perverse, Beniko."

Lana raised an eyebrow at him. "I'm sure they exist. But I did mean any markets."

"I'm not doing your homework," Jack said firmly. "So how's life been on those incredibly boring days where I'm not on the island?"

Lana shrugged. "If you don't help, you don't get to complain if you don't like where I choose," she cautioned.

"You've missed a lot of really exciting coffee specials, though. Oh, and a laundry strike."

"Oh, I was there for the key moments of the laundry strike," Jack sighed. "Unfortunately."

Lana grimaced. "I gave up and went back to Odessen to wash clothes. I'll never understand how things that are ostensibly non-sentient can go on strike. And you complain about droids."

"The washing machines on Fandom are droids," he said. "They've got to be."
